Um momento histórico para o Benfica e seus adeptos. Após 14 anos, voltaram a vencer no reduto do FC Porto, superando um mau início de época e recolocando-se claramente na corrida pela renovação do seu título. Ronald Koeman venceu o duelo de técnicos holandeses com Co Adriaanse, os apoiantes benfiquistas fizeram a festa no segundo tempo graças à vantagem proporcionada pelos dois golos de Nuno Gomes. It was an historical moment for Benfica and it's supporters. After 14 years, they won again in the stadium of FC Porto. Nuno Gomes scored twice and Ronald Koeman got the best out of the duel with Co Adriaanse in the other bench. The party was red in the blue and white fortress. Violence is still in the order of the day in brazilian football. This time, the Classic between Santos and Corinthians ended in a terrible confusion, with fans invading the pitch and fighting with the police. Some say it was the players fault, others the referee, some blame the police, and of course the fans are also being strongly criticized. But the fact is that this kind of riots are happening too many time over there. The fact is that the game didn't reach the end because there were no security conditions. Almost 100 wounded people was the result of the crazyness that surrounded Brazil match against Venezuela in Belém do Pará city. The problems ocurred in the training session in the day after the game, when almost 60 thousand people tried to get in the "Mangueirão" stadium, that only supports two thirds of that number. O jogo entre o Rio Ave e o Boavista não permitia grandes expectativas de um duelo Ultra, em virtude dos preços muito caros para os adeptos do Boavista (15€) e da escassa capacidade numérica dos apoiantes mais fervorosos da formação vila-condense. Acabaram por dominar os aspectos afectivos relacionados com o regresso a Vila do Conde. O empate final permitiu que ninguém se zangasse. De qualquer forma, aconteceram algumas peripécias que proporcionaram uma boa Galeria. Divirtam-se.
The teams of Rio Ave and Boavista are two of the best in terms of football quality. Even so, the game wasn't so good in Vila do Conde. The away team scored first, but the hosts got their draw in the injury time. At the stands the supporters gave some good images. Enjoy them.

Violência inesperada tomou conta do final do jogo entre o Sp. Braga e o Estrela Vermelha de Belgrado. Os arsenalistas foram eliminados ao empatarem 1-1 depois uma igualdade a zero na primeira mão. Após o apito final, viu-se de tudo. O massagista dos sérvios terá agredido um jogador do Sp. Braga, levando o troco de Cândido Costa. Entretanto, Nunes avançou para tomar o assunto nas suas mãos e, entre empurrões e golpes de parte a parte, chegou Paulo Santos como um relâmpago, conseguindo virar dois sérvios com uma única fragatada. Entretanto, nas bancadas, o barril de pólvora rebentou. Os Ultras da Delje preparavam-se, como eles tanto gostam, para a luta. Os adeptos do Sp. Braga reagiam de forma indignada às provocações dos jogadores sérvios. Foi o fim da macacada, com a GNR a ter muitas dificuldades para repor a normalidade. The match between Sporting of Braga from Portugal and Red Star Belgrade from Servia&Montenegro ended in the worst possible way. Someone from the ex-jugoslavian club staff tried to hurt a portuguese player after the final whistle, and all hell broke loose, with punches and all sorts of physical confrontation taking place. The provocations from the visitors were huge, and their supporters were ready to fight, so the Stadium Municipal of Braga was like a barrel of gun powder ready to explode. You can find the best images over here. Because the first leg match end in a goaless draw, the result of the second leg left Sp. Braga out of the UEFA Cup group stage.

Um jogo que parecia fácil para o FC Porto terminou em derrota. A vencer por 2-0, os homens de Co Adriaanse permitiram uma reviravolta sem precedentes para 2-3. Ficou estragada a festa de aniversário do clube, que comemorava os 112 anos de existência. Adriaanse disse que estava envergonhado e pediu desculpa aos Adeptos. No entanto, a derrota ninguém a tira e a carreira da equipa na Liga dos Campeões está seriamente comprometida. FC Porto spoiled the 112th aniversary party that should have taken place against Artmedia Petrzalka, from Slovakia. A terrible defeat for Co Adriaanse, the dutch coach that admited he was ashamed by the result. Um jogo com 600 pessoas nas bancadas parece destinado a ser uma pasmaceira sem ambiente. No entanto, não foi isso que se passou na Figueira da Foz, entre a Naval e o Rio Ave. As claques fizeram-se ouvir, o jogo foi combativo, e só foi pena os preços dos bilhetes serem tão elevados, mas esse é um mal endémico do nosso futebol. In the beatiful and trendy coastal city of Figueira da Foz, Rio Ave was surprised by one of the teams that was promoted this year to the portuguese League. Naval got a lot of heart into the matter and, even though the goal was questionable, was enough to get the three points. The best performance came from the supporters.
